Review patients’ medical history and any referrals or notes from doctors; diagnose patients’ functions and movements; develop individualized plans of care for patients; use exercises and therapy equipment to ease patients’ pain, help them increase their mobility, prevent further pain or injury, and facilitate health and wellness; evaluate and record patients’ progress; supervise physical therapy assistants or aides.
At least a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and license to practice physical therapy in the state of New York. A doctorate degree is preferred. Will consider an equivalent degree (bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant PT experience).
